NOC For Vehicle Transfer CSC Can Now Provide NOC for Sale of Used Vehicles

 "Government-promoted CSC e-Governance India Limited (CSC SPV) on Sunday said it has now been authorized to provide No Objection Certificate (NOC) for sale of used vehicles. CSC has partnered with the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) to make this service available pan-India, and the service will be available across four lakh CSC franchises in the country.

The service was inaugurated by Union Home Secretary Ajay Bhalla in the presence of NCRB Director Ram Phal Pawar

“This service will help citizens to reach NOC from the nearest CSC. NCRB has requested the State Governments to integrate CCTNS (Crime and Criminal Tracking Network and System) services with the Digital Seva Portal, so that these can be distributed and made accessible. To citizens through the network of CSCs.

Vehicle NOC allows citizens to track the status of the vehicle before purchasing a second-hand vehicle. NOC certificate shows whether the vehicle for sale is in the police records for any reason or not. A NOC is also mandatorily required by the Regional Transport Office (RTO) before the transfer of ownership.

CSC will be linked to the Digital Seva Portal CCTNS for providing this service.

CSC SPV, a special purpose vehicle under the Ministry of Electronics and IT, provides a range of electronic services to the consumers through its Common Service Centers.
